Radiator leaking from air vent at end.
Can anyone help? One of my radiators on the second floor is leaking from the air vent when the heat come on. I made sure the radiator is level and I also tried giving it a slight pitch back toward the supply. I have a steam system.

    Thanks

The air trapped in the radiator will then prevent steam from entering, preventing

Your unit from heating correctly. Once the system has cooled down somewhat,

Simply unscrew the vent and replace it with the new one.

The part is usually carried at most local hardware stores.

Leaking pvc furnace vent [ 3 Answers ]

This problem sure does not represent the end of the world but it's proving to be a nuiscance. As most of us know, water vapor droplets accumulate in pvc vent pipes carrying LP gas furnace exhaust.
