    AC leaking from vent.

Our AC unit is leaking from one of the vents. We live in Texas where it is super hot so it runs most of the time. Should we turn it off for awhile or call for help? We are new to home ownership so we aren't sure what to do. ANY help would be apprecaited!! Thank you! :)

This register box is made of metal(this is where the grill is attached) and is probably not insulated in the attic. If this is the case then it is easily solved by wrapping the box with fibre glass insulation.

Vent Stack Leaking [ 4 Answers ]

Leaking pvc furnace vent [ 3 Answers ]

This problem sure does not represent the end of the world but it's proving to be a nuiscance. As most of us know, water vapor droplets accumulate in pvc vent pipes carrying LP gas furnace exhaust. I have a 2 or 3" pvc joint from an LP furnace stack directly above the furnace that is leaking a bit...

Drain vent leaking water in attic and onto ceiling [ 13 Answers ]

I noticed a leak on my bedroom ceiling and traced it to a drain ventilation system looping though my attic. It does not seem to be connected to the main vent stack. It seems to be leaking at an elbow joint. The drain vent is PVC and I'm guessing is connected to my tub and washer drains and...
