    Drain problems
We had our septic tank pumped about a year ago so I know it does not need pumping again. The problem I am having is when I run a load of laundry and it is time for the water to run out we get a bubbling sound and the water run back into the tubs and toilet to the point on the toilet that I have to plunge it to keep it from overflowing. I don't know what to do we live on a fixe budget and my husband is not very mechanically inclined so I need a very detailed description on as how to fix this problem any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Your details are a littlel sketchy but I' try. You have a partial blockage downstream from the fixtures are backing up.; The solution is to rent a sewer machine and go down the lavatory roof vent of the bathroom that's backing up. Put out enough cable to reach the base and 25 feet more. Good luck, Tom

Hello, Let me give some background. We've been having problems with the toilet for a little bit, so I bought an air pressure gun made for plumbing and it seems to have cleared the toilet. I also use chemicals with active enzymes once a month (now once a day to keep the toilet running). Now my...

Have a question. My drain pipe (standpipe?) overflows SOMETIMES when we use the washer. SOMETIMES, the kitchen sink drain bubbles up with the washer's detergent. Bathroom drain problems [ 2 Answers ]

I've had problems with the drains in the bathroom. When the bathtub drains, it comes up in the toilet, or when flushing the toilet it comes up in the bathtub. I had a plumber come over and he snaked out the line with no success. He had me to dig up the sewer line, and said he'd be back once it was...
