Im getting fed up with dating irish lads, they are all right but Im fed up spending too much time in the bar drinking. I love to date an american something different, I dated one american lad last year but I could not understand his sense of humor.
Do american lads like high maintenance girls (no offence, I don't get the nail thing out here).
Its hard trying to date in New York as everybody seems too busy to date. I've tried internet dating but its not for me. Anybody got any ideas?

Do American lads like high maintenance females? Not the ones I know. High maintenance men or women are a pain in the rear. Too much drama, too much attention, all them all the time, and whine when they do not get their way.

American guys like a wide variety of people, just like anyone else. If you want to meet some new people who are cool, you could try joining a volunteer organization, a religious organization(if you are a religious person), a club at college (if that applies) or work. Just get out there and get to know a lot of people. I'm sure you'll find someone who isn't too busy to date. Ask friends or co workers to set you up on a date with someone nice. Good luck!
