    Given up parental rights
    I'm in Florida and I wanted to know about me given up parenatl rights what's the process and am I given up everything

    Relinquishing parental rights is a difficult thing to do. Generally its only granted if there is a step parent waiting to adopt. And yes, you relinquish all rights to have a say in how the child is raised, even to contact the child in any way.

    However, it generally does not relieve you of parental responsibility. If a child support order is in place, it will, most likely, still remain in place.

    So why do you want to throw away your flesh and blood?
