    Dishwashers and Water Pressure
I live in a prewar condominium apartment building (60 units). The Board of Managers will not permit installation of dishwashers because they believe it will affect the water pressure in the building and cause other damage to the old pipes. Is there any truth to this?

The truth is they will not allow it. A dishwasher takes a 3/8" supply, same as the hot water on one side of a kitchen sink. Run the hot water alone and you tell me... is that going to hurt the pressure more if I use this faucet as opposed to a dishwasher?
