    I didn't get mine until I was 15, so I'd say yes it's normal.
Once you get it, you'll wish you never had one, so enjoy it while you can :-)

Now the green discharge I've never heard of so hopefully someone will be able to answer that for you.

Green discharge could mean an infection so its time to let your parents know so you can see a doctor for some antibotics.

You need to talk to your parents about the green discharge, that is a sign of infection.
As far as still not getting your period. Let out a big yippee!! Some girls start their period at a young age and some at a later age. Be glad you don't have it yet. It only brings trouble! Your period will come just be glad it isn't here yet.

No one is going to know that you haven't started your period unless you tell them!
It's really none of their business, but if this is a "new" teen topic of discussion :confused:then the
Next time your friends are asking about what kind of feminine hygiene products one another use , just say Playtex tampons or Always pads;) .
    They'll never know...

A lot of girls think it is the "thing" to start their period. They want to brag and let the world know. But trust me after about a year or less of having their period they will wish it never started.

Periods are a good, normal part of a woman's life. They're not fun, but its natural to have one so that could be why your friends are excited about it.

You're perfectly normal not to have started yet. In fact, many girls start at the same age as their mothers did, so it could happen for you soon. Feel luckly though! I've known girls who were only 10 when they got theirs. Its not a happy time for a kid that young!
