Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew the average sentencing of this offence for a minor and if I will have a worse sentence because of a prior charge. I was drinking one night when I came across some merchandise that the cops planted the stuff and they caught me taking it they told me because I was co-operative they would tell the crown I was compliant. Will this help me atall? If anyone can tell me anything it would really help me out thanks...

First if the cops tell you they will tell the crown you were compliant they are lying to get you to confess. They don't tell anyone anything, only the DA in the US or your version of that can make any promises or deals that hold up in court. So basically you were tricked into helping or confessing.

And I am sorry, OK cops may do something's at times, but plant mercchandise. They may have had a stack out of a store or something, but you are not ready to tell the truth of what ahappened, even to us, don't expect this to work at all in court.

I would say an attorney and stop admitting anything till you get one.
