    Replacing bathtub snout
Does a bathtub snout just unscrew from the wall. Or do you have to go into the wall to release it? The diverter doesn't work. It doesn't divert it from the tub snout to the shower head. Thanks - Corky

If the spout is metal it has threads and screws on. If it's plastic then look underneath back next to the wall and you will see a square hole. Up there is a Allen Head Set Screw that must be loosened before you can pull the spout off. You do not have to get into the wall to replace a spout. One of my Maltees puppies was named CurlySue. Good luck, Tom
