    Termination of visitation
I am a non because mom. Been every other weekend for 11 yrs. Daughter is now 13 and we are having a horrible time with her and the ex. 11 yrs of lies, going back and forth to court, therapy, all this is taking its toll on myself and my family. She is asking for termination of visitation. If I agree what does this really mean? By agreeing I am not giving up my rights am I?

It depends on how this has been approached. If the ex is petititoning the court to modify the visitation agreement only, then it doesn't affect your rights except as far as visitation is concerned.

Who asks for termination of visitation-I understand that your daughter wants it.She does not have right to file a motion. This right has her father.Do you pay child support? If no,the lack of visitation will mean child abandonment and it will be ground for termination of parental rights.
