The most common cause of bleeding in the third trimester is the so-called bloody show, when the mucus plug, mixed with some blood, leaves the cervix. This is normal after 36 weeks gestation. Any time that you have an internal examination you may experience a small amount of bleeding for a few days. Bright red bleeding or bleeding like a period is not normal and should be evaluated. Do you have any pain or pressure? You should probably call you doctor ASAP!

Ohh I see where she got confused by your question :p

It is common to spot brown blood right at the beginning, and again at the end of your period. It could be that your period is coming a little early, which would mean it could be going through irregularity right now. Irregularity is not uncommon, and is nothing to worry about, but if you are truly worried you can always talk to your doctor about things like this, and what is going on with you. They are always happy to help :)

Since you are not late yet, you could wait. I personally think it could just be irregularity, but I am also not a doctor. Like I said, if you are really worried, see your doctor. I know they are not always the nicest people in the world, but they know what they are talking about regardless. :)

If you do not like your doctor, you need to switch doctors. There is no point staying with and PAYING for a doctors services, when you don't even like that doctor. Its not rude to switch, so don't feel bad, just do it. You are their employer, and if (just like every other employer out there) they aren't doing their job to the best of their abilities, and for in your best interest, then you fire them and find someone else. When you said that you were "due on the 19th of august" I mistook you for saying you were actually DUE hah, as in pregnant already. SOO, since I now know you are due for your period on the 19, I suggest you just wait for a bit longer, before going to your doctor, unless you just feel something is wrong. It sounds to me like your period is just coming early. It happens. Not uncommon to have irregular, late or completely missed cycles now and then.
