    Household plumbing
    Dear People,

I have a problem regarding the water in my house. The water does not heat up and also is not running in the bathroom. The stop cock has been turned on. There is no water for the toilets to flush also. I am seriously concerned and cannot afford a plumber. Please help.

    Regards,

Sounds like your incoming feed is being blocked, not hot or cold. Do you have an outside spigot and does it have pressure? Is there a filter on your main?

    Dear ballengerb1,

It appears as though one of the valves was faulty causing a problem. Fortunately I had a builder look at it and its better now.

    Many thanks for your response.
