    Biochemistry standard curve for glucose
    How do u do the following haven't got a clue how to do these:confused

    Glucose micrograms/ml absorbance 620nm
    0 0.035; 0.028
    10 0.085; 0.091
    30 0.185; 0.191
    60 0.335; 0.342
    90 0.480; 0.478
    1ml hydrolysate 0.275; 0.266

    (I) plot these data and establish a standrad curve for glucose
    (ii) determine the glucose content of the final hydrolysate
    (iii) determine the glucose content of the original sample
    (iv) establish the percentage hydrolysis of glycogen

    Here is a partial hand to help you on your way

    If you plot micrograms/ml of glucose (first column) against mg absorbance (second and third column- average these) on a graph. This is your standard curve.

    Right I won't give you all the answers as once you have this the rest should become clear- post back if you are still stuck/ confused and I'll help you will the rest.
