    Whirlpool senseon dryer (gas)
How do you get the access panel off the bottom of the dryer? It says spring clips, but I can't figure out how to release them or how hard to pull. AND, where are the thermistors located? There is a small door on the back panel that comes off, but it doesn't seem to lead to them. I am afraid to take off the whole dryer back.

Push in on the spring catch with a putty knife. Patience! It can be a bit tricky. I believe you will find the thermistor on the right side. If I remember correctly, the one is a littte hard to get your hands to. Good Luck

No joke! I didn't see anything remotely like what the link you posted somewhere else looked like. Do you have to remove a black metal covering that would potentially expose the guts or business end of the lint filter? If so, I couldn't get it off some little spring clip it was attached to. Sears is coming Wednesday, but I wanted to at least get the wet stuff out of the dryer, and the new wet stuff out of the washer and through the dryer, so it wouldn't get funky and so I wouldn't have to go to the laundromat! Or bother a neighbor. Which I think I did. (get the stuff dry that is, not bother a neighbor) There was a frightening amount of lint in the area behind the filter, and some sand it sounded like. The exhaust out the back was squeaky clean though. Thanks for the help. I feel much more confident with the sears dude coming now.:)

If you have a great amount of lint build up you will not get clothes to dry. You have a lack or airflow. Clean lint out and try a load.To access the works of unit that kick plate has to come off. There are 2 spring clips one on each side holding it on
