    Installing Electric Walloven
I am remodeling my kitchen and have purchased a 27" electric wall oven. I have given manufacturer's spec ( cabinet cut out dimensions ) to my cabinet company but at the final phase of my remodeling found out they made the depth a little short. The full length of the oven is 24 1/2 " but need 23 1/2" in depth to install. From the front of the cabinet till the back wall of the oven is 23". The cabinet company wants to cut the back wall of the cabinet ( 1' space between wall oven cabinet wall & drywall) and put the oven flush against the drywall. I think it is fire hazard. What do you think?

I would read instructions carefully, especially about that space. May be OK.
I think drywall is less combustible than cabinet. Or call Manufacturer.
