Off the pill, when do periods go back to normal.
I was on the pill for 3 months straight due to an ovarian cyst that is painful, and got my period twice last month on may 30 and June 6 which is when I stopped taking the pill all together. So when do my periods go back to normal, or should I have gotten one already? Anyway, if anyone has answers that would be great!

I took the pill for about the same amount of time for the same reason, and quit because of irregular bleeding. This happens the first few months after you start them, but your body should adjust after a while - is what the dr. told me.I could never remember to take them on time,so I decided to stop them.It will take a while for your body to get back to normal because your hormones will be out of whack since you stop taking the pill. You will probably have p.m.s. Good luck.

It ranges for different women. It can take a month to 6 months typically. I would say if you were only on it for 3 months, it won't be long before you are back to normal.

You were so right... I got my period and boy did it come with a great dose of PMS... I'm thinking that the symptoms I got from being on the pill aren't as bad as what I experienced today. I've never had this bad of PMS before, it was to the point that I was changing my pad every hour, and I couldn't get of bed. Took some NSAIDS that didn't help either... boy what a pain...
