On the pill, having periods during active phase
    Hello,
I have been on the pill almost a year. In the last 3 months I have had multiple periods, two during a pack of pills.

March I was 4 days late for my period then had a very short period.
April I had NO period whatsoever. (took a pregnancy test--negative)
May I was 4 days late, had a short period and now I'm having another period (complete with bleeding, cramps, etc) 2 weeks later during the active pill phase.
Is that strange? Should I be worried?

I always thought I tollorated the pill well. I was on it 15 years with NO problems, went off for 2 years and have been back on now for almost a year. Is it the brand? Me?
By the way, I take it same time everyday--never forget.
Thanks for any advice or info...

    Louise:)

Breakthrough bleeding can mean you need to consider changing pills. Our bodies change as we age, so sometimes you need to change BCPs with it. Talk with your gynecologist.
