    Ceiling fan wires
I was installing a used harbor breeze ceiling fan and the small red wire from the capacitor came off and I don't know where it goes. The lights work but now the fan doesn't work. If anybody knows where it goes I would appreciate some help.

Usually fans are color coded, is there another red wire in there?

Not that I found. The fan is humming low but won't spin. Could the wire be inside the motor housing?

Did the red wire break off or is it simply disconnected? Got a picture?

It kind of looks like it was soldered to something but I'm not sure.
