    Leaky pipe
Just one more problem. We have a pipe that leaks a little, enough to make a round circle on our drop ceiling. It is wrapped with black insullation.

We plan on going to the hardware store to get some stuff I believe is called dope putty. I saw my plumber use it once to stop our toilet pipe from dripping. HOw would we un attach the insullation on that one area? Can we use a single edge razor blade to expose the pipe and see the problem, then what?

What should we ask for. What's the latest good product that will work best on a over head pipe above our den.

    Thanks!

Thank you so much for your help. We certainly will look into it if matters get worse. So far the hardware store salesman told us it was just condensation. Hmmm I don't know about that, so thanks for your help.
