    Hi I am just asking how much it costs to put another person on a mortgage

    I can't answer, but others may know, I just wanted to say you should go into your mortgage provider and just ask, or ask at your bank. I think it varies.

    Why would you want to be on the mortgage,

    But for most you will have to do a complete refi of the loan to be added to the mortgage, You may be able to be added to the deed depending on the area you live and the lender.
