    Insulation above closet and shower
    Hello, I am currently remodeling a bathroom and could use some advice regarding insulation above a closet and next to a shower.

    I have attached a picture to hopefully clarify my questions.

    Currently above the closet cavity is batt insulation with a paper vapor barrier stapled to the bottom cord of my vaulted truss. Everything below that within the cavity is completely uninsulated. I would like to add insulation to the cavity walls and the and the bottom of the cavity.

    My question is: Can I just add insulation to the walls or will I be creating some type of moisture problem by completely encapsulating the cavity with insulation?

    Or should I insulate the walls and bottom of the cavity, and then remove the insulation just above it along the truss?

    Any help would be great.

    Ceilings Get R 30, Walls Get R 13 To R 15, If There 2x6 Walls You Can Use R 19
    You Want Cause Any Problems By Insulating, What Will Happen Is When You Isulate Interior Rooms Its More For Sound Proofing Cause Your Not Losing Heat As You Would In An Exterior Wall.
    So No Your Not Creating Moisture Issues By Doing This.
