Kenmore 90 series model 11028922790 won't spin and agitate water fills. What do I do?

Nihal Wesi- #1 IT IS THE agitate & spin cycle
{SOLENOIDS} that is under the tub near the motor, some are internal on the motor
#2- These control the spin and agitate cycles on the washer; or it could be the lid switch;;#3-the lid switch is what I would check out first, if you don't have a volt/ohm meter then get a common screwdriver to push the lid switch down
#4- with and leave the lid open ;;the switch could be out of adjustmentor defective or broken if they are OK then you will have to go to the soleniods under the washer tub disconnect the power cord and water hoses, pullout from the wall lay it over with the front towards up positionnote -if you don't have a volt/ohm meter ; you can get one at Lowe's OR HOMEDEPOT for less then $16.00 dollars in their elect.dept#5-the timer switch also controls the drainning of tub water, agitate, & spin cycle,CHECK out the timer switch;;NOW step #6-set the meter to the rx-1oo scale #7-disconnect a lead[wire]to one of the solenoidsand clip one of the meter probs to each wire terminal;; if the meter reading reads 250 to1,000 ohms then the soleniodis goodif this one works OK then go to the other one and do same proceedure; IF soleniodis good then do the same thing to the other then if just one is defective then it is highly recme nded SOLENOID ,that both should be replaced at the same timenote be sure to hook up the Do this then come back to this post and let us know so we can test the soleniodslead you through ,one step at a time
