Statistics null and alternative hypotheses
To determine whether listening to relaxing classical music, such as that composed by Mozart, will increase test scores in mathematics, researchers test a group of people. They give the subjects a mathematics test, record the mean test score before listening to Mozart, then have the subjects listen to Mozart while taking a new mathematics test. The researchers then calculate the average score for that new test. What are the null and alrernative hypotheses for this scenario?
