Hey Mom, I hope you have some plumbing experience. You'll need no special tools for this job unless you plan on soldering in the dfrainage.   First you "trim" the sink by installing the faucet, the basket strainer drain and the top drain assembly of the disposal.  Use plumbers putty on the lips of the drain.
When you've got that done  you will have to tell me what sink you wish to install, Srainless steel? Enamel? Cast iron? Will it need a sink rim or does it have a rim?  These are things I need to know. Will the drainage be plastic or metal, if metal what kind?   Get back to me with a trimmed sink and the information I need and I'll get back to you ASAP.  Regards,  Tom

Tom is giving good advice. Those things usually come with directions which have pictures which will help in ways hard to do here. Stores like Lowe's and Home Depot may have leaflets giving directions too. I think they have videos too. Study all the stuff you can and then come back here with anything you aren't sure about. If you are new to keeping up a house and updating it, you might want to buy a book. The Readers Digest The Complete Do It Yourself Manual would be one of a number of good choices.
