I promised a friend of mine a blueberry cheesecake...

At the ER last night I got desperate... I called and said six words... "Bring me coffee, you get cheesecake." Within 20 minutes I had a large blueberry coffee and a half-dozen donuts. :) lol...

(I suppose "bring me coffee, you get cheesecake" is better than "bring me coffee, or else!", right? )

Cheesecake for coffee, sounds like a good trade to me, as long as I'm on the cheesecake end of it. :)

LOL! See, I'd so much rather have a cup of coffee than cheesecake. There are not many things on my food list that beat coffee... Godiva Key Lime Truffles is probably the only thing I'd choose over coffee...

Oh, and maybe authentic Chinese dinner... Gong bao ji ding (chicken, peppers, peanuts), xi lan hua (garlic and broccoli), tu dou si (julienned potatoes and green peppers in garlic), jiaozi (dumplings)... mmm... but only if authentic... American Chinese food doesn't measure up! Except maybe P.F.Changs. They have a few dishes that are amazingly close to authentic Chinese.

    Crud. Now I want Chinese.

    (Although, I'd take Sneezy ;) )

Okay, I've got to go eat something, seriously, I'm drooling on my keyboard because of you guys. ;)

My left eye feels like it's going to pop out of the socket, it's really hurting today, I'm a bit worried. I have an appointment on Friday, should I wait or call now? I don't want to mess with my baby browns, not willing to take any chances, but I also don't want to over react over every little pain. It's only been a little over a week since the surgery and they said that it could take a month or more to heal completely. Any advice would be great, Doc Sneezy, what do you think?

I had that same conversation with Sarah last night - she didn't want to freak out at the small things... but in my opinion, its better to KNOW something is not wrong than to chance that you're OK...

    What could it hurt?

(Doc Sneezy, sorry if that was bad advice... )

I just called to see if I could come in before Friday, they are completely booked. I told them that my left eye really hurts, and feels cold, they said it could be that I'm just doing too much and to take it easy. I'm going to go rest for a while, I hope that it's okay, I like my left eye almost as much as I like my right. ;)

I'll talk to you all later, take care, eat cheesecake, drink coffee.

    Alty Out.

I want a cabana boy, a drink that's nothing but alcohol, and warmth and sunshine.

Alty, what did they do instead of lasik? Did they do an ICL? PRK?

I'm assuming that the doc wrote you a script for a mild pain reliever... if it's hurting that much, you should call the doc (which you already did)... and I'm hoping they gave you some sort of a temporary fix?

(Funny that doc Sneezy should show up right when I close my eyes and envision a cabana boy and an umbrella drink... )

If you build it he will come?

(Darn it... that's the last time I stay up that late... )
