Is he interested in a 23 year old college student (5 years older than he is)? That might very well be the bigger question here. Have you had boyfriends in the past?
Is he likewise learning disabled?
I suspect a track, football and lacrosse "star" is beating off prospective girlfriends with a stick. Is he just being nice to you or is he interested in you as a girlfriend?
I think if you ask him out you will upset both families - yours and his. What do your parents say about you having a crush on this guy?
I will join WG in loving Colorado - I liked Boulder best.

I realize you are almost finished with College - what is your major? I know there are lots of Environmental Studies degrees available in Colorado.

Yup, Boulder, and next on my list is Dillon, home of The Little Brown Drug (store). Great Sand Dunes is pretty nice too, especially in May when the creek is full and gives cool relief to hot-sand-burned bare feet. And of course, there's Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Oh, and Wolf Creek Pass. Heck, maybe we should move to CO.
To aspenchic, just be sure you aren't trying to "buy" his affection with "stuff."

I don't understand your relationship with him - you go to all his games. That I "get." But you bring birthday cards and gifts to his team mates?

Not a legal issue but this is a huge difference in terms of where you're at in life. My son is 18 and a senior in high school. I would STRONGLY disapprove if he were dating a 23 year old girl and I would consider something seriously to be wrong with her. Why would a woman old enough to be a senior in college want to be with a boy who's just barely old enough to graduate high school? Find a man your own age.

If you read the more recent posts, you will see it's a lot more complicated than a simple age difference.

I'm still not understanding what a lady your age sees in a teen. I know as a parent I would be very displeased if you were dating my 18 year old son. You are too old for him. Not even in the same stage of life.
