    5 year age difference.
Ok so there's this guy who's 18 and I am 23. Is it OK for me to have a crush on and possibly date someone who's 5 years younger? Hes so good looking

No, not because of the 5 years, that is nothing, it is because you have to ask. You have a personal doubt and it bothers you or you would not ask this question.

So it will always worry you. Until you are OK with it and do not worry about what anyone would say, then it will not work.

Some people will not want it or think it is wrong, some people will find fault in anything

No if both of you are adults. And since you both are adults, it does not matter, legally fine.

You do not date a guy because he is good looking.

The legal answer is that there is no legal problem.

He may be younger in years but you are interested in him because "he's so good looking" so I suspect you're on the same maturity level.

Not only don't I think there's a question, I don't see there's a problem - but here we are on the legal forum.

"What's your favorite kind of pizza?"
    "Which is your favorite sport?"
    "Do you have any pets?"
"Which food do you hate the most?"

You're 23 and you don't know if a teenager, someone you are really good friends with, is flirting with you? I'm wondering why a young lady your age would want to date a boy that age. Girls generally mature faster than boys, so I'm not understanding this. Why don't you just ask him.

Well if you know he likes you what is the problem? You said you don't know if he's flirting with you? He is 18 so you could date him although I don't know why you would want to date an 18 year old. What makes you think you would get in trouble? I suppose if you took him out drinking or gave him alcohol, that would.

Does he live at home, is he in high school? How would his parents feel? If he is in High School, that would be kind of weird. Would you go to prom with him, or are you just looking to have fun and not date?

I don't see any reason why you would get in trouble. If you want to date him, do it.
