Less, actually. You can't change the ballistic "print" of a gun without a LOT of hassle. You can change your appearance easily. It's actually easier to hide a PERSON than it is to hide a gun.

Hello again:

The solution is for our justice system to distinguish between the real bad people who need to be put away forever, and the guy who got caught wizzing in the alley.

Going HALFWAY, like letting bad people out, and TRACKING them is STUPID, doesn't work, gives the public a FALSE sense of security, certainly doesn't help the convict, and takes up the time of law enforcement from doing more important things.

It's not being done that way. You can make those distinctions. Why can't your congressperson???

In this case Garrido never should have been released. That's the main problem here.

He was supposed to rot in jail, instead, he was released after only 11 years of a 50 year sentence and look what happened?

Had they kept him locked up we wouldn't even be having this conversation. That poor girl would have been safe at home with her family, not having to deal with the hell her life has been for the past 18 years and the hell that's still to come.

We have to stop giving these guys a second chance.

On a serious note here, I remember a month or two ago, a young girl wrote in saying she was being molested by her brother and was afraid to tell her parents because she thought he would kill her. I can't remember what section her message was in but does anyone have any updates on what happened to her? I hope she told someone and is safe.

I hope that the moderators kept records and forwarded them appropriately to the proper law enforcement agencies.
