Ahh, yes I remember the pain... so, here goes, heartbreak old school style
    Lost without your love- bread
All out of love- Air supply
Love hurts- Everly Brothers also Gram Parsons with Emmylou Harris, also Nazareth, and so many others
Take another piece of my heart- Janis Joplin
Unbreak my heart -Toni Braxton more recent but had to include it
Heartbreak and betrayal, never out of style, and good for the music industry, you think?
The pain never, never goes away completely, but time heals, really it does. The scars on your heart remind you to take care of yourself, love wisely.

Crud... yeah, evidently I'm giving you too much love, Delow! Go figure!

I just watched 10 Things on Monday night...

Lindsay Lohan (gasp) actually did an OK job with it... but the 10 Things version is awesome.

Stand - Rascal Flatts It's been on my car stereo LOUD and on repeat...

You feel like a candle in a hurricane
Just like a picture with a broken frame
    Alone and helpless
    Like you've lost your fight
    But you'll be all right

    [Chorus:]
Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break
Cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up
    Decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong
Wipe your hands shake it off
Then you Stand, Then you stand
    Life's like a novel
    With the end ripped out
    The edge of a canyon
    With only one way down
Take what you're given before its gone
Start holding on, keep holding on

    [Chorus]

    Every time you get up
And get back in the race
One more small piece of you
    Starts to fall into place

    [Chorus]

So some of my songs may be more for a woman, but that is what I am and these songs help me and make me feel stronger and more independent.

Let it go - Keyshia Cole
    Fighter - Christina Aguliera
Potential Break up song - Ally and AJ
    Irreplaceable - Beyonce
    Man enough - Toni Braxton
Don't want you back - Eamon

Gone Forever - Three Days Grace
    --------------------------------------

And as always since I live and abide by heavy metal, most of it played especially loud makes me feel good!

In Terms of Love - SheDaisy

I think once we get to the point described in this song, we have truly, amazingly taken back control of our lives and emotions... and have begun the magical process of mending our hearts...

I haven't really been listening to the radio or music in general since the break up. He was pretty big into music and I knew so many songs would just remind me of him. Love songs would make me cry. But the other day I turned it on and they were playing "suddenly I see" by KT Tunstall. I turned up the volume and just started singing along. I need those sort of "independent woman" type of songs... they just pump me up and make me feel stronger. Hell, I even found myself singing that Britney Spears song "stronger" the other day. Have't heard that song in ages.
