    Hello again,

    News ALERT!

Harry Reid is going to let the Republicans EXPLODE on their own accord. He sent the bill back to the House a day earlier than expected so that Boehner has time to send a bill back that funds the ENTIRE government...

They're going to kick the can down the road to the debt limit debate, where the ramifications of a default are MUCH greater than a simple government shutdown...

I predict that you'll get your way. The government WILL default.

I don't know if Cruz took a potty break but I have to laugh at the ridiculous attacks on him. Politico felt some need to note the 'experts' say Dr. Seuss would have loathed Cruz. Of course reading Dr. Seuss to his daughters from the Senate floor was sweet and adorable and we can't have that image of him can we?

Sure we can... I give you the Cruz girls watching their daddy read to them on TV.

There will be no shut down .. But the Dems are going to take a hit over the CR . They will get a CR with sequester spending levels intact.
The real battle to come, to see if the Repubics have any spine ,is the debt ceiling . If the Repubics can't take a stand against unsustainable national debt then they have no business being an opposition party to the Dems .
As far as being primaried ..... after his disgraceful collaboration with Reid ,John McCain should be primaried out of office.
I agree and many on the left do too, UNIVERSAL Health Care!! Wish you had of said that before this whole thing started.

And since McCain just won his seat again, being primaried is a pipe dream.

Who are those little girls? In 2012, The Cruzes had a three-year-old daughter, Caroline, and a newborn daughter, Catherine.

That falls right in line with the plan. Did Reid allow amendments to bring spending back to pre-sequester levels ? No . So the base line for the budget is now sequester levels . Mission accomplished .

The debt ceiling is another battle .The emperor voted against raising the debt ceiling in 2006 . So his rhetoric on it today rings hollow.

Really? You're questioning if those are really his kids? I think Cruz' chief strategist would know if they were his daughters and they look like the right age to me. Parts of 2012 were almost 2 years ag, the youngest should certainly be walking and recognizing her daddy on TV.

You misread me. The people howling the loudest isn't the right.. it's the Obots who did not get those exemptions (like the unions) . The Repubics don't have the votes to defund. So like it or not we will have to eat this cr@p sandwich for at least a year. But that doesn't mean that the provisions of the law need to remain in tack . I am actually for a 1 year delay until after the 2014 elections . But barring that ,just work to end all the exemptions and let all the people have a taste of the sandwich.

Cruz's birthday is Dec. 22 (1970). The website said he is 42, so the site was saying he had already had his birthday -- so it was the very end of 2012 or early 2013. The newborn would have hardly been walking by the time he was filibustering this week..

LOL, now we have a new Cruz birther scandal, his kids are imposters! This is a riot.

Sorry, but those certainly look like his kids to me, a little girl grows a lot between election day and September.

The difference between the right wing and the unions, is the unions are at the table negotiating TWEAKS, and you guys are squealing repeal, with no replacement.

The Repubics don't have the votes to defund. So like it or not we will have to eat this cr@p sandwich for at least a year. But that doesn't mean that the provisions of the law need to remain in tack
Call me in a year then, when you guys have thought about a better idea.

I am actually for a 1 year delay until after the 2014 elections .
I don't think so. Why delay the inevitable because you HOPE you will have more votes? Why would we agree to that, and to be clear, we don't.

But barring that ,just work to end all the exemptions and let all the people have a taste of the sandwich.
UNIVERSAL Health Care. I fully agree with that, and I didn't think I misread you.

No because my solution would not be universal health care .it would be more in line with private exchanges similar to what Walgreens,Sears ,and Darden Restaurants are doing .

You don't have people over? You think it odd that his chief strategist would be watching his boss on TV with the family? Really? I'm sure a Democrat would never take advantage of a photo op like that.
