Water is pumping from well but not to house

Assuming that what you have really is a booster pump it wouldn't have a place to prime. A booster pump expects to have water coming to it under some amount of pressure. Its job is to increase that pressure. Because it would have water coming to it under pressure (in its normal use) it would not need to be primed.
