You will need to know how to write and communicate when you're an adult. You may think it's cute when you're 14, but it's not that cute when you're writing a resume using chat speak, and employers will not appreciate it.

    Use your words!
Well this is how teens write and I won't change how I write and its easyer 2 write like this.

    The therapist said this?

Did that therapist also discuss what your brother said in treatment?

It's not believable. First, a therapist cannot discuss a patient with anyone, even his/her parents. Your parents could go to therapy, discuss your brother, and the therapist could then give advice about your brother, but a therapist could not mention anything about your brothers therapy to anyone. It's called Doctor patient confidentiality.

    I'm still not understanding.

You said the therapist talks about your dose and what's wrong. A dose of what? Dose is a word used to describe an amount of medication given. That's why I asked what medication you're on, because you said the therapist talks about your dose and what's wrong.

Sounds like you're on medication, and the therapist thinks you're not getting the correct dose.

If that's not what you meant to say, can you please try again.

Then give us the definition of this different dose so we know what you're talking about.

The definition of dose is as follows:

    Noun:
A quantity of a medicine or drug taken or recommended to be taken at a particular time: "he took a dose of cough medicine".
    Verb:
Administer a dose to (a person or animal): "he dosed himself with vitamins".

    There is no different "dose".

If you want to talk in chat speak to your friends, that's fine, but it's against the rules of this site. They're not my rules, but I do agree with them, and so did you when you joined the site.

I asked you nicely to write properly, and you came back with an attitude, said you'll write the way you want to write. No! You won't! Either you follow the rules, you leave, or you're forced to leave, those are your options. Doing what you want to isn't an option, and it's about time someone taught you that!

As for your typo, I asked you what dose you were on, and instead of saying "I made a typo", you said it's your version of dose. There's only one version of dose. You wrote the word dose, and we go by that word. If you meant does, then say so, don't keep playing games.

I have a 14 year old. He doesn't get away with this crap, and neither will you.

Now, do you want advice, or do you want to keep trying to get your way?

Let's see - your family has known you for 13 years and they don't like you and they don't like your attitude.

I've known you for 2 minutes and I agree with them.

If you want to talk to people who agree with you and speak whatever language it is that you are trying to speak, talk to your friends.

This is a teen that hasn't been brought up right. That's my opinion.

Rules are rules. She agreed to the rules of this site when she joined. Did she read them? Most likely not. But I made her aware of the rule about chat speak and instead of saying "sorry, I didn't know, I'll stop texting", she told me that she'll do what she wants, because she's a teen.

When I told her that I'd report her for disobeying the rules, I was told to grow up. No my dear, it's you that needs to grow up.

My son is 14. He would never speak this way to anyone. He understands that rules are rules, and if you don't want to follow them, there are consequences. Heck, my 10 year old understand this.

This is a case of bad parenting, or just a very bad teen. She needs to realize that there are consequences for her actions, and the world doesn't revolve around her and what she wants. I hope she learns that before it's too late.

When EVERYONE hates someone (adult or child) I always figure it's the someone, not everyone, who has the problem.
