You are treating your dog like she's human. She is not. She is a dog.

Please get her spayed when she is the right age. Otherwise, I will have a sad face until the day I die.

I won't address your other posts, because I don't want to fight with you. All that matters is that you're getting her spayed, which shows that you really do love her.

I hope that you're being sincere, for your dogs sake.

Fact is, I can only tell you the truth, as the human being you are the one that has to be smart enough and care enough to make the right choice based on the facts, which is what I gave you.

I really do hope that you are going to get her spayed, you not only saved her life, but thousands of others, just by doing this one thing.

Ya just want to reach out and hug and cuddle her! I rescued my Shi TZu 8 years ago. He had been turned in by 4 families and was termed unadoptable and was headed for the gas chamber when I saw his picture I felt a connection and took him on trial. We had some heated discussion about who was going to be Alpha Dog in my house but I won in the end. Bandit, indeed. Had found his forever home. Now he loves everybody and thinks everybody should love him. In my opinion every elderly person living alone shout have a pet to love on and be loved back in return.
Don't buy from a puppy mill. Rescue a dog instead. Regards, Tom,

Pugana, Daisy is adorable. The American Kennel Club (AKC) standard says they should weigh between 9-16 pounds.

She chases the male because she is a playful young animal. It has nothing to do with sex or sexual attraction. Female dogs don't think that way. To her he is a playmate.

I hope you do get her spayed. It will keep her healthier and happier throughout her life.

Since this is your first dog, I am going to give you a training tip. Do not allow her to anything as a puppy that you do not want her doing as an adult. She should not be biting your fingers. It may be cute now, but it won't be later especially if she bites someone else. It will not be her fault. It will be yours because you didn't teach her to behave properly.

I hope you have many happy years together.

    Speaking of biting,
Do not allow her to anything as a puppy that you do not want her doing as an adult.
Bandit got the reputation of bring a biter and a runner. I think he picked that up as a puppy.
Here's how I think it came about, Being small , cute and cuddle children would pull and maul him. He learned the way to stop anything he didn't like was to bite.and then make a break for it as soon as he saw a way outside. 4 families with children couldn't handle it and so he was turned back in. I know dogs. I even speak a little dog. No dog runs away from a home he's happy in. and after some heated moments and a lot of tough love Bandit learned it was much better to get loved then punished and now he loves everybody and thinks everybody should love him. One of the nicest compliments we've ever got was from the woman who fostered Bandit. When Canine Castaways, the place I adopted him fro was in town I took Bandit down for them to see. The lady that fostered him took a look and said. " Oh look! Bandit's a happy dog now". Music to my ears. Bandit's 13 now and like me is growing old. But in addition to having a great dog and companion I have the satisfaction of knowing that I saved one dog from being "put down". I just thought I'd share. Tom
