She's a smaller dog. Most smaller breeds stop major growth spurts at around 6 months. You'll know her final weight when she's around a year old. A good judge of how big she'll be is looking at the parents. She shouldn't deviate too much from their weights.
I do have to express some concern. Your other post was in my breeding thread, and you stated there that you want to breed your dog but you have 5 months to think about it.
Are you stating that you're planning on breeding your dog at 9 months of age?
I don't condone backyard breeding, but I will say, a dog isn't ready to breed until she's at least 2 years of age. Sooner than that will decrease her chances of having healthy puppies, and decrease her chances of surviving the pregnancy and delivery.
If you really want to breed then do it right. Do the genetic testing, find a suitable male. Show your dog so that she can be judged by experts, so that you know you're breeding a top quality dog of her breed. Having paper doesn't mean she's breeding quality. Being purebred doesn't means she's breeding quality. There are a lot of reasons backyard breeding is a horrible idea.
Let me put it this way. If you wanted to have a child would you want a guy that has a clean bill of health, doesn't do drugs, doesn't drink, takes care of himself, and doesn't have a family history of genetic diseases, or would you go to an alley, find a homeless guy that sleeping off his latest drinking binge, does drugs, and has a very bad genetic history?
Without the genetic testing, the right mate, making sure your dog is top quality, she's pretty much the drunk homeless guy in the alley, and the puppies, they could get the worst of those traits.
Here is the breed standard for a Shih Tzu

What about daisy I never saw her parents. She is my first dog. I 'm asking her final growth because I want to travel with her too far. Next year and it will be a problem if she becomes 20 lb:)) but anyway would be bigger love:)) I'm so happy to have her

So please don't breed her until she is old enough, like Alty said, "a dog isn't ready to breed until she's at least 2 years of age. Sooner than that will decrease her chances of having healthy puppies, and decrease her chances of surviving the pregnancy and delivery."
Did you read the link that tells about breed size? Were her parents both Shi Tzus?

Of course not will breed her until appropriate age. 50%-50% means I don't know yet I will breed her or not. Time shows...

Knowing how many dogs and cats are put to death every week because no one wants them, I beg you to get her spayed when she is old enough and not add to the numbers of homeless animals.

With 5 millions dogs put to sleep every single year in the US alone, you don't have to worry about running out of dogs. There are plenty to go around, sadly, there aren't enough homes for the ones already here.
Also, we aren't asking everyone to spay or neuter their dogs. If you're a legitimate breeder, with healthy dogs, and you know what you're doing, follow the breed standard, do the genetic testing, then I have nothing against breeding. Sadly, you don't fall into that category.
You seem to love your puppy very much. She is adorable. I know you won't want to hear this, because you don't want to hear that you're wrong, but I do want to ask you this. If you decide to breed her and she dies (it happens to many dogs during pregnancy and delivery), will you be okay with that?
The one thing that struck me most about your other post was that you seem to think that your dog will be sad if she doesn't have babies. I have to stress again, despite how much you love her, and the fact that she's very much your baby, she's not a human being. She is a dog. Dogs don't long to have a family. Dogs don't long to have babies. Only humans do that. No other animals does.

OK. I believe you. I'm not interesting to make money. I will do the best for her. What about dying of course it is too sad but that is natural. She has to die finally. I don't want to die first:))

Yes, we all die in the end, and if you were told that you could have a child, but that you could die, and you did it anyway, that would be your choice.
The fact is, your dog has no choice, she has to rely on you to do the right thing for her. If you choose to breed her and she dies because of it, that's your choice. Do you understand what I'm saying?

Alty... come down... Everything will be ok:)) people are dying around the world but it does not mean we all have to stope having children... that's life. Everyone's has their fortune. We cannot change all world. People love pets. I guess if they will not cost so expensive all of us wish to have them more then one... I saw some videos on YouTube that dogs food are made of dying animals. Maybe they"people" put them to sleep to make business? I always donate some money for animals when I'm buying puppy food. We have to donate to them.we have to save them, if we care. I'm not backyard breeder. I just don't know what to do.it is my opinion and I don't think so that you are 100% right. I'm not going t fight with you. I get your point.just stop. Please don't be so angry. We all love animals:))

How is it HER choice? The only way she will get pregnant is if you allow an intact male dog around her when she is in heat. She doesn't invite him out for dinner and ask him to have sex with her, but is a victim of being in heat. That's YOUR choice to mate her, not hers. God has nothing to do with it.
