Few of us are born with those skills and some take an awful lot of time to develop them. You actually have to want and practice being better. I think being patient with yourself is where it starts. I mean, whose perfect? There will be mistakes made as you gain control over YOURSELF, after you accept thats all YOU can control. YOUR thoughts, words and actions. Think before you act or speak, and always take a minute to take a second look before you do anything.
You are really just starting to learn about YOURSELF. Right?

And all thanks to you Talaniman. You've helped to get through this. Guided me the right path & the lighted the positiveness more. I'm on this self grooming spree now. Getting wiser & Widening my knowledge area too. In this phase of life,Seems I am on the right track .

Those feeling are temporary if you do things that distract you from them. When you see him, you focus on something else. If you know you will see him, have some other task to focus on. You really don't have to carry those feelings around with you if you have a plan or strategy to deal with them.
It's a part of the healing/growing process, and the goal is to be always looking forward both in thoughts and actions until we no longer have to be a slave to those old feelings. When you see him,or his car, look around to other people and things to divert your attentions to. Bet you start to say a lot of other things besides him.
Try it. Make a list of other things to pay attention too, when he is around. Practice this over and over until you are good at it. In this way we learn NOT to let our feelings get so carried away we hurt ourselves. Self control is the first step in letting go, and moving on.

Just wait until you get good at it, and find out what you have been missing because you were distracted by useless thoughts and emotions.
That's when the fun begins. And so does the healing.
