    Thermostat wear you set the temp is in hallway it shows 69 on both side it donest drop before it kicks back on

    Fix the plunum and most all of your issues will go away. You can patch it but a contractor will have insulated duct material and tools to do the job. I'd get 3 bids from contractors before tackling it myself.

I have a very old GE gas furnace model # BLU080E924B1 that doesn't want to work on auto. Thermostat seems fine, but unit won't run unless I connect gas valve and blower directly. I installed a new relay, new fan/limit control and new transformer. I don't understand why it doesn't work on auto.
