I work for a manufacturer in NJ I make a great salary and our fuel management system are very affordable. Why does everything need to be made in CA?
Damn... I haven't seen prices for the theater like that in 20 years. Yeah the relatively unknown groups will be affordible... I was meaning the headliner groups. When I was in College they were actually affordible... and that's even factoring in the inflation adjusted prices.
California was used as an example since its California and the liberals that cry the loudest about the jobs going overseas... yeah the right does as well, but unlike them we don't believe in massive entitlement programs for people that never earned anything of the sort like California has.
But much the same holds true in the greater DC metro region where I have lived and worked in Both MD and DC for nearly 30 years except the years I spent overseas. Never lived or worked in NJ so can't comment there but I do know NJ has stupid high taxes from people I know who lived there.

Now would be a good time to get on the Raiders bandwagon, they've scored what, 90 something points the last 2 weeks? I used to watch them when Kenny Stabler was the QB. Heck, I used to watch them when George Blanda played.

Smoothy Check out AMC theaters They are the ones that have the special discount tickets and free popcorn. Yeah Speech I think it was about 90 points in the last two games. I don't think they scored 90 points total last year!!

I told you Lori was the one to worry about. My hot hands were Vernon Davis and Ryan Torain... both on a bye.

Hello again, Steve:
I don't even play, because my nanny state decided, for my own good, that, while it's not illegal to play, if I won, I couldn't collect. I HATE the nanny state, ceptin for banning happy meals... That's a GOOD ban...
What?? I can't choose the morals I want enforced??

Ding dong the Witch is Gone!! Mimi Pelosi is history!! OMG I never thought it would happen!! Hip Hip Horay!
Now we won't have to look at that old, dried up, shriveled up, self centered, self serving, spendaholic any longer gloating at us little "citizens who do her Majesty's bidding" any longer.
I've read "rumors" that she's spearheading the Obama impeachment thingy. Wonder why? Because she's been thrown under the bus (or house that Dorothy landed in OZ and smashed her with)? Uh, no pun intended here.
Now she'll have to "fly" coach if she has to pay for it. Ohhhhh, couldn't happen to a nicer person...

What about the deceased Senator in California who won the election for her reelection? That's worse than weird considering most folks from California are "dead" anyway and just don't know it.

The talk today seems to be on Obama's conciliatory tone yesterday... I say it was a head fake. The man has made a political career out of saying one thing and doing the opposite.
In his victory speech the partisan divide was over, a few weeks ago Republicans could "come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back." He wanted them "just to get out of the way" and "don't do a lot of talking." "Enemies" (American voters) had to be "punished." Transparency? Not going to happen.
Remember back when Scott Brown was elected? He warned Democrats not to "jam" Obamacare through and what did he do? He doubled down and jammed it through. So for the last 24 hours the media has discussed "compromise" and told us his signature energy goal was dead, cap and trade.
But did anyone catch what he actually said? “There is more than one way to skin a cat.”
And he will, he's not backing down.

I saw nothing Conciliatory in what he said... I saw an arrogant horses behind that STILL doesn't grasp that the majority of the people don't like his agenda... and the pompous SOB still thinks its everyone else that has to bow to his decree because he is the Mighty Messiah... who dare demand HE of all people compromise about anything.
More of the same old "my way or the hiway" that has come out of that whitehouse ever since he moved in and ran down the property values.

What I was saying is Bush was not the type to back down (not a bad thing). A reach out is not a back down. Maybe the @$$ kicking that went down on Tuesday will cause a little bit of a back down. When He said there is more then one way to skin a cat is his dopey way of saying he will reach out. Who knows.

Well, like I said, after the Scot Brown win he took the same tone and told the Dems not to jam health care through, which is precisely what he did... and then sneered at the protests, "you would think they'd be saying thank you."
We'll soon see what reaching out means to him once again.

In another development, Media Matters - the George Soros funded group whose sole mission is attacking Fox News - has determined what went wrong for Democrats.
It wasn't anti-incumbent fever.
It wasn't a national temper-tantrum.
It wasn't ignorance, denial, willful stupidity, and blind rage.
It wasn't Obama not getting his message out.
It wasn't voter racism.
It wasn't "secret money."
No, none of that... Fox News won the election for Republicans.
During the 2010 election cycle, Fox News, its employees, and its parent company engaged in an unprecedented campaign in support of the Republican Party. The network served as the communications and fundraising wing of the GOP while fervently promoting -- and sometimes creating -- the party's candidates.
Part of their shocking discovery was that "Fox News candidates "speak through Fox News."
Fox News candidates "speak through Fox News"at least 269 times in 2010. Media Matters for America searched the Nexis database through September 18 for network and cable television appearances in 2010 by five potential 2012 Republican presidential candidates who currently have relationships with Fox News. The five potential candidates -- John Bolton, Newt Gingrich, Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, and Rick Santorum -- have appeared 269 times on Fox News and a total of six times on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and CBS combined.
Yes, John Bolton (I didn't know he was in the running) has weekly scheduled appearances on Fox News as an analyst. Newt Gingrich has been a paid contributor for years. I'm sure you heard Sarah Palin had a short-lived show and Huckabee... has had his own weekly show on Fox News for over 2 years. Let's see, 52 weeks a year, a few preemptions and re-runs, plus regular contributions as a paid employee and appearances to promote his show... that's what, 150 or so appearances right there?
Media Matters is shocked that Fox employees appear on their network? I'd like for them to do a Lexis-Nexis search on the number of Democrat appearances on Fox during that same span and report back.
Oh yeah, Alan Grayson appeared on MSNBC 62 times... but when you only have 79 viewers it really doesn't matter.
