    Yep, but they need polluting vessels (boats/cranes) to place them.

    There also needs to be an environmental study (effects on birds etc).

    They are hung up on the extremely short term pollution the boats and cranes that are used to place them.

    What a crock of e,, We burn MILLIONS and millions of carbon producing emissions and they are concerned about a boat on open water... OMG:(

    That's the EPA for you... they delayed the building of berms in the Gulf to prevent the oil from reaching sensitive wetlands because they wanted an environmental impact study done 1st.
