My skin is a complete mess right now because of Hyperpigmentation, what I'm doing is that whenever I use my BioClaire cream I mix it with Lemon Juice. I heard that works but I just started doing it yesterday so Im not sure.

You are Afro.Caribbean so you are dark skinned ? , if you got this mark as you have said due to the use of glycolic acid your skin is suffering from chemical burn, Actually if this is a recent burn, you could have corrected it by just applying petrolium gelly on the affected area and let it heal naturally.
Since it seems that the problem have been there for quite a while , then that dead skin is now stuck on your normal skin no amount of cream, soaps or whatever can remove that although like a tattoo it will ligthen , because you are applying treatment to dead cells and dead cells don't regenerate.
Actually with proper application it can be corrected by a cream with exfoliating capability meaning having the capability to exfoliate/remove your dead skin, and revitalize the healthy cells beneath it.
Kojic creams helps to ligthen the skin, thats why you will see a ligthening effect, so does bleaching and kojic soaps. but they will not exfoliate
If you are in my clinic, this is the treatment that I will suggest
1. A good night cream that whitens and exfoliate dead cells
2, A good day cream that revitalize healthy skin cells that have been expose by the night cream
3. An antibiotic Toner that clears bacterial skin infection and prevent acne during treatment
4. A good Sunbock at least spf 30 (should be cream not gel or lotion)
4. A good cleansing Soap you can select any of these (Alpha Arbutin, Kojic Soap, Bleaching Soap)
With this regimen you should see a good result in 7 days
A good dosage of Glutathione should help (look for generic products that contain 100% gluta at least (1000mg gluta)), support it with 1000mg of vitamin C (genererics) and Vitamin E Generics. (generics are unbranded product with the same quality as branded product , I do not know if you have them in your country)
Oh By the way, do not rub your skin, since this will destroy skin cells on your face. Use cotton balls, when you apply toners, and just pat dry your face with a towel before applying creams
In using whitening soaps, do not rub the soap directly on your face, the alchaline in your face will react on the active ingradients of the soaps, besides most ligrhening soaps has exfoliating agent that will rub your skin raw.
Wet your face first with lukewarm water to open the pores, rub the soap on the palms of your hand then use your palm to apply the soap on your face. Live the soap 2 to 5 minutes. then rinse and pat dry.
Warning : If you feel itchiness or any tingling sensation with your lightening soap, stop using the soap.
Hope this will help
Bong

I'm going to try this too, PSEessentials. I have been battling this problem too for years! Like Topace, I have tried everything, and nothing seems to work. I have a lot of hyperpigmentation around my mouth, which looks awful and I hate it! I could take it better if it were located somewhere else, which it is also in other places on my face and neck.

BONG - how can I contact you? Your method seems to be the best answer but I am a senior citizen and I don't need anything that dries out my skin.
