He sounds rather self centered, controlling and immature. You DO deserve better. There WILL be someone else who will love you for YOU. Are you REALLY happy? Do you REALLY want a lifetime of this? I think you have to learn to love yourself and realize that you DO deserve better.

I know you all are right. I didn't want to leave him for having a mental issue, but I think that being bipolar isn't the only issue with this guy.
Why do the worst ones always seem so amazingly kind and perfect at first? Is it their strategy to make it harder for us to leave them once their true colors come out?

Being bi-polar is NEVER a single only issue with any guy.
I think it is their strategy 'bait and switch'!
They reel you in with the charm and then once they think they have you hook, line and sinker you are sunk! And they rise to the top and take over thinking they can take you for granted.

Thank you all for your advise, I hope I can hold on to feeling empowered and do what I know I need to do, unfortunately he's very smart and always knows what to say to make me stay with him, I just hope I don't fall for it this time :(

Good luck to you Midoovi. You know what he's like and you should now be ready for his "games".

No way if he is in love with you he would wait for you no matter what and would not make you feel guilty about anything!
This guy sounds awful, and is using all his so called power.. to control you

Even if he didn't want to wait he would not put her through all he has.
He would have been loving and won her heart to the point she didn't have questions due to red flags.
