There is no double standard here - we were just sharing our experiences. Men should equally be able to do the same. But I cannot say it is often I see a que to the mens toilets!!

Women always go in two's or maybe a little group, they always have a chat and things, comb their hair, touch up their makeup - which is why the que builds up, men just go it alone lol

I see what your talking about. Oh I have seen those kinds of woman who don't seen to have a bit of modesty. I have heard before "oh we all have the same thing" That's all fine and dandy, but when I have another woman staring at my things it gets a bit uncomfortable, I have expirenced that "many" times before. But I don't think that would make most men walk out it would probably make them want to walk in, lol.:p

Thre is a local club where I live where Men are not permitted to go into the female toilets and women are not allowed to go into the male toilets. This was implemented because so many people were getting caught out having sex etc. So if Men they always get thrown out of there if they are seen by the bouncers. But Men often venture into the ladies toilets, just to chit chat or see what they can see. I think it's all about rebellion, being somewhere they are not meant to be, it's exciting to them lol

I've used the ladies washroom before.

If the man's one is busy or out of order and I have to go, I don't see anything wrong with it.

You should look into unisex washrooms... thats another story.

I was at a store once, and the Men's Washroom was out of order (cleaning). So I went in and used the women's washroom. If the women in the stall next to me knew I was a guy, she might have freaked, but I don't think there is anything illegal to it.

It is just the companies way of trying to conform to social standards.

If we are truly talking about single-stalled, locked restrooms, I would suppose there would be no law against this... at least not in California. If anything there could be a house rule against it, which may get you excused form the restaurant if you were caught doing it. However, if it were a mulitple-stalled restroom without a locking door, I wouldn't be surprised if there WAS a law against it... it seems appropriate.

As for me, I spent quite a few years in the restaurant business. We had single-stall restrooms with a door and a lock. Any decent person would not only close the door but LOCK it, as well.

I didn't even care if there was a "line"... if that mens room door was LOCKED, I was checking the women's within 2 seconds. That's just how it was. I was at work and had far too many tables to be waiting for someone to finish their business. It was rare enough just to get the chance to get away long enough to use the restroom!

I hear you and I know exactly where you are coming from. I don't think there is any laws enforced in the UK about this sort of thing!! It's only when you get caught out having sex - but even then you only get thrown out of the toilets or perhaps even the establishment for the rest of that night, none gets arrested for it lol
