It's too early, and not enough coffee, for me to be dealing with militant anti-adoption people.

Adoption is just a weird subject. The people who know a lot about it have DEFINITE opinions about it. And... no one agrees with anyone else.

There's just a particular poster in those forums that drives me nuts, and she started FIRST thing this morning.

I'm sorry that you're having a bad day Synnen. The only thing I can think of is drink more coffee, add a bit of bailey's, that's what I plan to do at 5pm.

    Here's a joke to cheer you up, it's not about coffee because I couldn't find any I haven't already posted. Instead it's about a rabbit, why, because that's my avatar. Enjoy;

A man is driving along a highway and sees a rabbit jump out across the middle of the road. He swerves to avoid hitting it, but unfortunately the rabbit jumps right in front of the car. The driver, a sensitive man as well as an animal lover, pulls over and gets out to see what has become of the rabbit.

Much to his dismay, the rabbit is dead. The driver feels so awful that he begins to cry. A beautiful blonde woman driving down the highway sees a man crying on the side of the road and pulls over. She steps out of the car and asks the man what's wrong.

"I feel terrible," he explains, "I accidentally hit this rabbit and killed it."

The blonde says, "Oh, don't worry."

She runs to her car and pulls out a spray can. She walks over to the limp, dead rabbit, bends down, and sprays the contents onto the rabbit.

The rabbit jumps up, waves its paw at the two of them and hops off down the road. Ten feet away the rabbit stops, turns around and waves again, he hops down the road another 10 feet, turns and waves, hops another ten feet, turns and waves, and repeats this again and again and again, until he hops out of sight.

The man is astonished. He runs over to the woman and inquires, "What is in that can? What did you spray on that rabbit?"

The woman turns the can around so that the man can read the label. It says...

    (Are you ready for this?)

    (Are you sure?)

    (This is bad!)

It says, "Hair Spray - Restores life to dead hair, adds permanent wave"

    I didn't say it was a good joke.:o

I'm not having a BAD day--I just get frustrated with specific types of questions and responses sometimes.

And I finished my coffee, and all they have here at work now is icky black stuff with the powder creamer.

Oh Synnen, your stuck with office coffee? My heart goes out to you. May I suggest stopping at Starbucks on your way home?

If you need to vent your frustration, you know that we're all here to lend an ear. Grab a seat and a coffee and let it all out. You know me, I'll tell you exactly what I think.:)

I switched to water for now--maybe when I go to lunch (I'm working late today, so lunch is at 3 or so) I'll swing by Starbucks and use my lunch money on coffee.

I might swing by Walmart and buy a sweater, too... it's COLD in our office today!

You said the other magic word, Walmart. Love Walmart.

It's really windy in my neck of the woods. I went to get gas for my van and the door flew out of my hands when I opened it. My 5 year old daughter said that I better hold her hand when we walked back to the car, otherwise, she said, I might blow away.

I can't wait to go to Walmart and buy shorts for the summer.

Sorry that some of you are having bad days...

    However, my day is... beautiful.

Got off work. The weather is AMAZING... 71 degrees, sun is shining, light breeze... I love it so much that I'm not going to write my thesis... instead, I'm going to take my dog for a walk in the park.

And oh yes, I had a venti verona.

Sneezy, Have fun walking your doggy, hold onto the leash with one hand and the coffee with the other, you don't want to spill.

I've got to do some laundry, fold some laundry, watch my daughter create more laundry, go to Walmart to buy laundry detergent. Are you recognizing a theme?

I'll talk to you all later. Have fun and drink loads of coffee.

    Alty out.

Four pages!! Wow... I feel unnecessary... Un-missed... un-loved...

Naaa... actually, I'm feeling like the proud owner of a successful hang-out spot! :)

Wow... you all are great! Scotty - so glad you liked the concoction! A little cup-o'-heaven, wasn't it? Mmm...

I drank so much coffee today its REALLY not funny.

Watched Star Trek: First Contact last night and was so tempted to say "Resistance is futile people, really, just go with it." Then when leaving? Hehehe "Assimilate this!!" :D

HChicky was Witchy today... (It was fuuuunnnn!)

Anyway, I'll be back tomorrow, bright and early with my coffee in hand. So glad that the coffee shop went on without me. What would I do without my buds?

Hi Friend4U (we've got to shorten that) - Nope, I'm not off to bed yet, its 7:30pm right now in good old Canada, my daughter's in the bath and I'm drinking water.

I didn't know that you lived in Australia, I've always wanted to take a trip Downunder, maybe when the kids are older, I don't think that I could handle that much time on a plane with a 9 year old and a 5 year old.

Anyway, time to lather rinse repeat my little girls hair.:)

Hey M - Hee, Hee, checking to see if we're behaving ourselves. You know me, I rarely am behaving myself. I've had a very sarcastic day today, if you've seen any of my posts you know it's true. I am getting better though, I actually deleted 5 posts today before sending them because I knew that the poo would hit the fan.

Anyway, I'll check back later M, oh and Good Morning to you. I'v got to get the Rug Rats ready for beddie bye and then I'll check in to see what I missed.

    Toodles,

Alty (otherwise known as lucky Bunny)
