    1031 exchanges left to beneficiaries
I have a rental that I am thinking of selling through a 1031 exchange. I know this is a way to delay but not to avoid paying the taxes on the gain. If I then leave this property as an inheritance to my sons, will they also have to pay these delayed taxes if they ultimately sell this property? Lynne
