Of course we talked about them, but we did not allow them to EXPERIENCE it, unlike the made up story you told about your dad supposedly having you read porn books and then having a delightful conversation about it afterwards. I don't believe that for one second.

I "twisted" what you said? That kind of, shall we say "falsification" doesn't work as long as cut and paste still works. "My dad would have handed me books like that and asked me to read them. After I finished, we'd sit down at the kitchen table with cookies and iced tea and have a wonderful discussion."

As you can see, it is precisely the fairy-tale (I believe) you wrote. You have been caught yet again.

I would suggest we return to having children read classic foundational books . You know .the ones that are being edited and cancelled at an alarming rate , The Wind in the Willows, Treasure Island, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Aesop's fable .the 'Little House on the Prairie ' series, Beatrix Potter's 'Tale of Peter Rabbit ' are just some of the literature that are rarely being taught to our nation’s children today. Those books have better lessons than ;'Jacob's new dress', 'My Princess Boy' or 'Who are You The Kids Guide to Gender Identity ' .

Well said, Tom. It's sad where this woke crowd is taking our children. When we actually have people who defend books like Lawn Boy and contend it is a book that young children should be encouraged to read, then you know we're in trouble. I suppose the next big movement will be about books glorifying date rape.

We said during the gay marriage debate that the flood gates were opened .LGBTQR++XYZ was the next illogical step down the devolution rabbit hole . Marriage with minors .man-boy lovers ;polygamy are in the progression along with bestiality and human sacrifice (which we have been well on our way since 1973) . Apparently we already accept mutilation both surgically and chemically.

It is certainly heterosexuals who are engaged in the sacrifice of children with the process of abortion, but it's the LGBT bunch promoting these surgeries on ten year olds. And I know. Seems like in Florida the right has gone book ban crazy too.

Florida came up with a collective list of books that will not be taught in districts throughout the state . Now I agree with restricting some books when they are not age appropriate ( when it comes to high school there should be few) . But the published list is over the top. i confess now that many of them I read in school and as an adult . Some of them were foundational.

2023-2024 School District Reporting Pursuant to Section 1006.28(2), Florida Statutes

I'm not talking about the controversial books promoting lifestyles . Some of them are classics including work by Ayn Rand ;Toni Morrison ;Kurt Vonnegut ,Maya Angelou among others . For some reason Steven King is prominently banned. Again ,it may be justified to restrict them based on age. But it does not seem justified for total bans.
