    Falling branches
A tree on our property line (a poplar) loses limbs. The tree is healthy, just natural shedding. The neighbor collected several years worth of limbs and then dumped them back over our fence. I don't know how long they were there... he doesn't get back to that part of his yard often. We're not even sure where they came from. Is it our responsibility to pick up these branches?

In most of the country I am aware of... its the persons property they fall on to dispose of... just like the leaves. Disposing of them isn't dumping them on someone else's property. They could get in trouble a lot of places for doing that.

What state and country would this be?
