    Do I need to file 8843 ?
    Hi,
I was in F1-OPT (till Sep-2013) and H1B (from Oct-Dec2013) and I am an non-Resident alien (Student from India).
    Already filed form 1040NR
Should I need to file Form 8843 ? (I remember filing it last year should I file it this time also?

If so, can I amend it by filing form 1040X and add form 8843 ?

    Thanks

You DO need to submit the Form 8843 ONE LAST TIME.

No need for the Form 1040X. Just print out BOTH pages, SIGN IT and mail it to the IRS in Austin, TX.

Actually I will be submitting form 1040X because I also forgot to send Form8889 so I am planning to attach this 'Form 8843' along with them.
    Can I do that ?

If you are already submitting the Form 1040X for another reason, then, yes, you can attach the Form 8843 to that amendment.
