I'm leaving my crush and I need advice.
So there's this girl who I have an unreal crush on that works at my job. We've been working and getting to know each other pretty good over the 7 months we've worked together. She is one of those rare girls that you come around that are beautiful have an amazing personality and smart as a whip. Anyway its been a slow process getting to know her cause she's not an easy girl at all and a lot of guys try to get her unsuccessfully. Even though we aren't dating we've clearly let each other know that we like and have feelings for each other and she's given me her phone number too. We have a lot in common and we seem to have a natural connection with each other. Anyway my job let me go very abruptly before I could see how far our relationship could grow. Although I have her number we've never hung outside of work yet. The only way we can chill now that I'm not working there is outside of work.

So what should I do, call her? Text? What to say? And I still haven't talked to her yet since I was let go so is that going to make it more awkward now talking to her?

After 7 months of getting to know her on the job, and both of you expressing your feelings toward each other, it would have been a natural course of events to begin to see each other outside of the workplace.

Yes, call her, and ask if she'd like to meet up for coffee. Something simple in a public place.

I don't know why you were fired from your job, I suspect something serious for you to be let go without warning, perhaps theft? Or something along those lines? If it is a serious breech in the workplace, and she knows what happened, she may decline to have anything to do with you. That could be a consequence that might never have happened, had you kept your job.

But the only way you will ever know, is to phone her and see if she'd be willing to have coffee with you.

Well, then I advise you to give her a call.

    Good luck.

You can call but don't be surprised if the ability to hold your job makes her very cautious, as well it should.
