Is HAIR washing bad during menstrual cycles?
I'm 16 and I'm getting my periods since November 2011 (I was 13). During past two years, My periods' regularity was fluctuated two times. I consulted a Gynecologist and got everything fixed. My mother said that it all happened because I used to wash my hairs sometimes during my periods. She advices not to wash hairs during periods. I searched on the internet about it to get my answer but I wasn't satisfied. Some sources say washing hairs during those days causes cancer in your 50's while some says there's nothing bad in it. I think this is the place where I'll get satisfying answers.

There is nothing you can't do during your period as opposed to not during your period.
What exactly did the GYN fix?
There's nothing wrong with fluctuating periods either; it's to be expected. Unless your periods were lasting for weeks, etc?
