    Gastroschisis
I was born with Gastroschisis, for more than a few years now I have been experiencing sever abdominal pain, I can not lay on my stomach, or even rest my arm on it without causing myself pain. Also I get sharp shooting pains in my abdomen every now again that are so painful and sudden that I scream out in pain. Sometimes I can feel them coming so I prepare myself and sometimes that curbs the pain slightly. I'm just curious if its related to the Gastroschisis? Please help

You should consult with your doctor. This condition in some instances can be corrected with surgery. How Old are you by the way? Your condition could have been dealt with when you were younger.

I am 26 years old and only found out recently what was actually wrong with me when I was born.

I don't understand how you could not know. This is similar to a hernia around your belly button on the outside. Still suggest you consult with your doctor as this cannot be dealt with on the Internet, sorry.

The pain would possibly be from the exposed organs.

I was just curious to see if anyone else who had Gastroschisis also had this pain too as I was unsure if they were related.
