    Chained CPI
    Hello:

It's called a technical, politically neutral fix. It's anything BUT. It's a CUT in MY benefits, pure and simple. SS didn't contribute to the problem, and I PAID for my benefits... Get your stinkin grubby hands OFF my retirement!

    Hello, smoothy:

Try to suppress your racist core if you can.. It's not appealing at all.

Both CPI and chained CPI are bogus indictators . No one wants to measure the true inflation .

And tinkering with CPI will not make up for the $2.5 trillion the government has plundered from Social Security for general revenues. We all know that the government took the funds and replaced them with monopoly money... called T Bills . We also know that the Fed has no program to cease printing them as fast as the presses can work .

Nor will tinkering with CPI do anything about the long term insolvency of all our "entitlement " programs .

    Hello again, tom:

So, let me ask you this.. If given the choice, would you cut Social Security or the F-35?

I'd eliminate the F-35 and reform SS

Bullsh*t. THe blowhard in the whitehouse isn't entitled to special protection because he is darker skinned than me... and he isn't entitled to any respect other than what he has actually earned... which is absolutely none.

I'm entitled to hate the SOB no matter what his skin color... I hate Harry Ried and Nancy Pelosi too... for the very same reasons.

Of course, you'd DENY it. But, here's where you SNITCH on yourself, smoothy.. You hate them, true.. But you don't say "their kind". Of course we KNOW what "kind" you're talking about... YOU know it, I know it, and everybody READING this thread knows it..

I shouldn't have to explain racism to a racist. You understand perfectly well that you're a racist. You SOUND like a racist, and as far as I can tell, you're PROUD to BE a racist...

But, when I call you out, you sound like a little boy who got caught, and says I didn't do it.. BE what you are, and BE proud of it. The south WILL rise again. Heil Hitler.

Only a liberal would try to play the race card every chance they get... because heaven forbid you hate someone because they are a liar.. a cheat and a thief with no mroals or ethics... no it has to be because they aren't the same color you might be.

Word of advice... its old... people are tired of it... and it proves you have no better argument.

Obama would be the same POS if he was Asian... White... or Eskimo... it has nothing to do with him being half black. It has everything to do with him being a narcisist.

Because you see... it isn't about skin color... its about a lack of character... and lack of competence.

We all know how racist you both are... because those are terms you are both so fond of using.

And its also well proven... the people throwing around the race card all the time... are the most racist of everyone.

Right... a typical lefty... incapable of dealing with their own behavior when called out on it. You are exactly that... and the more you deny it.. the more obvious it becomes.

smoothy where I come from I am considered conservative and some of my ideas are very right wing.
For example I have very strong views on immigration, indigenous peoples, education, unemployment, climate change however I do believe in fairness and ensuring there is not great disadvantage because none of us know when we might fall on hard times

Now this contrasts with where you come from greatly because your conservatives are much further to the right than I am

Most people are "disadvantaged" because they were to dumb (they are true idiots by every definition) to take advantage of the free education everyone has available to them. They waste time.. skip class. Cause trouble and if they even bother to go to school... call the kids who do apply themselves names... then when they graduate and can barely spell their own names... whine about how they don't have the advantages the kids who studied did.

Well duh... they made their bed... now they can sleep in it.

There are millions of kids in other countries that would give their left arm for the opportunities the lazy element squander here with education.
